Website design for award-winning farm & corn maze
WHAT WE DID
- Designed two complimenting websites for farm
- Reorganized pages to simplify user experience
- Created complex application form for employment
- Fixed errors in Google Search Console & resubmitted for indexing

The folks at Warner Farm approached us about building two new websites, one for their farm and one for their adjacent corn maze, which has been rated the number one corn maze in the US!
They had had several issues with both sites being hacked and crashing in the past, so we started from scratch with a fresh WordPress install.

Corrected errors in Google Search Console to increase traffic
This website had been hacked many times over the years and several malicious links had been added to the code. The website was still showing up in search results, but Google had labeled it as “potentially hacked” which deterred visitors from clicking the URL. The team was also dealing with the website going down several times a year, especially during their busiest season.
We built the new sites on a private server and deleted several spammy DNS records, then submitted reports to Google Search Console and got the flags removed.
Reducing manual tasks with forms
Something that was brought up un our discovery call was the amount of time the farm team was spending combing through applications and emailing back and forth with applicants asking questions. We updated the employment form to include several new questions and set up an automated email to be sent to folks letting them know their application had been received and they would receive a response shortly. This saved the hiring manager a considerable amount of time.
